FAQs

  • The SigBee Check-In app is available and regularly updated for the iOS and Android mobile operating systems.

The SigBee Dashboard for supervisors can be accessed from any web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and is best optimized for use on a laptop or desktop computer.

  • Logging into your SigBee account is as easy as can bee. We take care of the up-front set up, so by the time your organization is ready to roll SigBee out all you’ll need to do is download our mobile app and enter your email address. We’ll send an authentication code to your email inbox to verify that it’s really you, after which you can set a password and get to checking in!

Supervisors and managers, take note: you’ll be accessing your account for the first time via our mobile app as well. After you set a password, click the “Sign In” button on the top of the page at www.sigbee.com, and you can access the SigBee Dashboard (your hub for checking out your team’s daily check-ins).

  • Depending on your organization’s implementation of the SigBee platform, there may be some questions waiting for you when you log in for the first time. These can be demographic questions, questions about your date of birth and when you were hired, or organization-focused questions about the department you’re in or the type of work you do. The options presented to you are pre-loaded into the system and will be tagged to your anonymized check-ins for review at an aggregate level, by organization leadership.

  • To keep things as lightweight as possible, settings for the SigBee app are pretty simple: on the Settings tab, you can change your password at any time and select when you would like to receive notifications to complete your daily check-in.

Getting Set Up

The Check-In

  • The realities of working have changed dramatically in recent years. Teams are working remotely or in hybrid arrangements, and a disconnected workforce has had an impact on employee satisfaction, team connection and overall well-being. SigBee creates a platform for employees to routinely provide their team and their supervisors with valuable information on their well-being and engagement so they can receive the support they need to be successful in their job. Each check-in gives your direct supervisor better context with which to support you, and your check-ins are aggregated and anonymized so higher-level leadership has a better understanding or pulse of how the organization is doing.

  • Each day, SigBee delivers a curated set of questions (or prompts) to you in a quick and easy-to-complete format. The check-in will be comprised of as little as 2, but no more than 5, prompts to answer. They range from scaled questions to answer with a sliding bar to open-ended journal prompts that provide critical context for your supervisor or manager. Whatever the combination of prompts, we try to dial them in so it doesn’t take you more than a minute or two to finish up.

  • Your check-in, once submitted, is visible to your direct supervisor by default. If you report to more than one person, then you and your organization may have the option to make check-ins visible to several people. Past the direct manager relationship, however, your check-in data is completely anonymous and is only used for aggregate reporting purposes.

  • After a week of submitting check-ins as part of your daily routine, the Profile tab of your SigBee app will start populating with trends and insights useful for personal reflection. Some questions answered in your Check-in Profile might be: How am I trending on Team Connection? What was that journal entry I submitted to my supervisor or manager last Tuesday? How are others on my team or in my organization trending in different SigBee core categories?

The SigBee Dashboard

  • If you’re a manager, supervisor, or otherwise someone who has a team of people reporting to them, the SigBee Dashboard is your hub for checking out your team’s check-ins. Individual check-ins are available in realtime, as well as some at-a-glance insights and more in-depth reporting on trends drawn from check-in data.

  • Every day, your team’s check-ins are labeled with a green, yellow, or red icon for viewing on your Dashboard homepage. Green indicates that an employee hasn’t indicated anything wrong in the context of today’s SigBee Check-in; Yellow indicates that an employee hasn’t yet checked in today; and Red indicates that an employee has submitted a check-in with below-average scores in one or several SigBee measures and may need some extra attention from you today.

  • At the bottom of your SigBee Dashboard are a collection of visuals built with your team’s check-in data. They are composed of individuals’ check-in frequency, staff trends across the core SigBee categories (both all-time average and over the last 7-days), and how your staff’s check-in responses are stacking up against your wider organization. These are provided to create “points of curiosity” and highlight areas your team is doing well with, or potential areas to focus on and improve.
